Reframe: The Same Door

Sometimes we look at someone
well dressed,
confident,
moving easily through the office corridors,

and we quietly assume
their road must have been smoother than ours.

Fewer obstacles.
Fewer rivers to cross.

But we rarely see the rivers.

The nights of doubt.
The quiet struggles.
The things carried silently.

All we see
is the person standing beside us now.

The truth is simpler.

If you are in the same room,
working in the same office,
answering to the same boss,

then life has already placed you
on the same floor.

You are not beneath them.
You are not behind them.

You are simply another traveler

at the same door.
